Berlin was the place of the 8th International Symposium on PASSIVE
SAFETY of Rail Vehicles in 2011.
During the Symposium many lectures were held and there was also a great
discussion concerning the relevant topics of passive safety,
crashworthiness, safe interiors and other.

Das internationale Symposium PASSIVE SAFETY of RAIL VEHICLES 2011 findet am 10. – 11. Januar 2011 zum 8. Mal in Folge in Berlin statt.
Experten aus allen Bahnländern sind eingeladen, das wichtige Thema SICHERHEIT im Bahnbereich zu erörtern.
Das umfangreiche TAGUNGSPROGRAMM ist der Veranstaltungsbroschüre zu entnehmen.

Neben aktuellen Forschungsergebnissen aus den Hochschulen und Instituten werden auch praktische Erfahrungen von kompetenten Vertretern der Praxis vorgestellt. Auch die Sichtweise von Behördenvertretern und von Dienstleistungsanbietern und Verbändevertretern wird erörtert.
Im Rahmen einer Fachausstellung sowie einer Networking-Veranstaltung können persönliche und fachliche Kontakte geknüpft werden.
Im Anschluss an das Fachsymposium (geschlossene Veranstaltung) findet eine Pressekonferenz zum Thema Bahn-Sicherheit statt, für das sich Pressevertreter beim Veranstalter (IFV BAHNTECHNIK e.V.) ab sofort akkreditieren können.
