FIRE SAFETY IN RAILWAY SYSTEMS
in March 2015
FIRE SAFETY 2015 is the place to be for railway experts
On 26 – 27 March 2015, the 7th symposium on fire safety both in regard to rail vehicles and rail infrastructure will take place in Vienna, Austria.
Speakers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France will be discussing new challenges as well as solutions concerning industry-related issues such as fire detection, behavior and protection. Guests from all over the world are invited to join the event. “We are excited to welcome participants and thus promote the progress in railway technology, especially in the field of fire safety,” said Eckhard Schulz, CEO of IFV Bahntechnik e.V.
The two-day conference includes numerous presentations from experts engaging in subject-specific research and practice. The main topic areas at this year’s event are regulations, research and development, infrastructure and rolling stock. In addition, participants are encouraged to visit an exhibition of products and services provided by the relevant suppliers of innovative technologies.
